The morogoro Institute of Hotel Catering and Business Management was established on 1st june 1999 as an Executive agency to offer Vocation Education and Training(VET) in various fields of trade to the young up-coming and development generation, as well as mature age  persons, so as  to cope up with challenges of increased high rate of un employment  due to current unavoidable with globalization prevalent all over around the globe.

Current MIHCBM is  focusing  on conducting programs which are very high demand in the labour market  hence, playing a major role in the material campaign for the alleviation of poverty in our country  and African continent as whole.

LOCATION:
The MIHCBM  head quoter are located at New savoy Hotel Buildings, room No 305 along the famous station road avenue, within the neighborhood the Morogoro Regional railways station.

The institute of officially registered government and duly affiliated with VETA and given preliminary C.30/650, being the supreme the stakeholder  of the Vocational Education and Training in Tanzania

VISION AND MISSION

The MIHCBM was established with a vision to be an excellent and most successful in providing perfect and quality VET academic in Tanzania and East Africa al large. 
It is also envisaged to provide research and consultancy service in the various fields of trade which include Business and Hotel catering Management Operation of the institute.
OBJECTIVES

The major objectives of establishing the Vocation Training Institute are inclusive of, but not limited to the following:-
  • Providing high quality training through well qualified and experienced tutorial staff team.
  • Increasing the number of graduates with proper qualification by passing through professional exams.
  • Making The MIHCBM an effective, efficient and professional training institute in collaboration with VETA organization.
Improving and expanding Training programs so as to meet the challenges and demand of the current labour market.
